Sorry It has bene ages but meet the new arrivals!

I have failed miserably to keep up with my blogging. The reason is work! i feel after the week I have had I need to get a few things off my chest. I am sorry I just need to rant!

As you may/may not know i work for my local authority in for my sins (I must have been a murderer in a past life) the council tax office.

I know I am sorry! But it pays the bills. And someone has to do it.

On monday the first of 2007/2008's bills hit the door mats.

Now the things is people it was not me who sat in the council chambers and decided on this year increase. It is not my fault that the bin men missed your bin. I cannot do anything personally about the condition of the road just near the hospital. It is not my fault that the police did not arrive for 2 hours when you rang them last week. Nor is it anything to do with me what decisions your local parish council make.

And for your information (and please dont take this the wrong way i am not bragging)

The £898 you pay for a year does not even cover my wage for a month so no you do not pay my wages.I also pay council tax. I am not exempt beacuse I work for the authority. So I contribute to my salary as much as the next person. And just beacuse you do pay tax it does not give you the right to talk down to me, shout, use foul and abusive language.

And NO you cannot get a discount for any of the following:

your neighbour having a caravan on the drive,

because you have a bus stop outside your house

because you live near a pub or club

because your neighbour is running a business from the garage

or beacause your neighbour has five dogs.

or for any other pathetic reason you care to think of!

And if your neighbour tells you they are in a band lower than you even though they live in the same style house they ae 80% of the time lieing. Either way I was still at primary school in 1991 when the bandng was decided so It certainly wasnt me who did it.

I would also like to point out the there are people out there who are in genuine financial difficulty. Who have worked all their life and are now living on a pitance. I have all the time in the world for these people.
I would like to say to the gentleman I endured for 20 minutes the other day that I hope one day you decide to get your lazy scrounging arse down to the job centre and get a job. Instead of bragging that you have been "ont sick fo last 15 years" And I hope that your new job means you then have to listen to some arrogant pig who thinks the world owes him a favour. Hopefully someone who calls you every name under the sun because they have been asked contribute £57.45 A YEAR towards your 5 kids education and towards your bins being emptied. I would like to say that I hope it comes back 10 fold. and let me point out THE WORLD DOES NOT OWE YOU A LIVING!!!

And finally when you bill does arrive READ IT. If it says "This bill is payable by direct debit" Then thats what it means. When it says "less 25% single person discount" then it means exactly that! Please dont open it get straight on the phone, cue for 20 mins to then rant that you are paying all this money and cant get through just to ask if you are getting a discount and will it come out dirct debit. READ IT!

I am sorry but I have spent 5 hours on the phone everyday this week thats 25 hours! listening to aresholes who are too supid to read what is in front of them. Too tight too pay or just generally love moaning. Or are too lazy to get a job! It makes me sooo mad!

I got this in an email at work today. It made me chuckle!

This letter was recently sent by Tesco's Head Office to a customer in Oxford:

Dear Mrs. Murray,

While we thank you for your valued custom and use of the Tesco Loyalty Card, the Manager of our store in Banbury is considering banning you and your family from shopping with us, unless your husband stops his antics.

Below is a list of offences over the past few months all verified by our surveillance cameras:

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's trolleys when they weren't looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to feminine products aisle.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone, 'Code 3' in housewares..... and watched what happened.

5. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

6. September 15: Set up a tent in the outdoor clothing department and told shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring sausages and a Calor gas stove.

7. September 23: When the Deputy Manager asked if she could help him, he began to cry and asked, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'

8. October 4: Looked right into the security camera; used it as a mirror, picked his nose, and ate it.

9. November 10: While appearing to be choosing kitchen knives in the Housewares aisle asked an assistant if he knew where the antidepressants were.

10. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously, loudly humming the 'Mission Impossible' theme.

11. December 6: In the kitchenware aisle, practised the 'Madonna look' using different size funnels.

12. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed, yelled 'PICK ME!' 'PICK ME!'

13. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, assumed the foetal position and screamed 'NO! NO! It's those voices again.'

And; last, but not least:

14. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited a while; then yelled, very loudly, 'There is no toilet paper in here.'

It took me till very recently to get over this guy and now he walks back into my life as though nothing happened.

Just as though he never got it on with my friend, as though he didnt break my heart.

And now 2 and a half years of hard work trying to get over him has just been ruined. All the things I felt for him are still here and I really dont want them to be. I just want to forget he ever existed and how much I adored him and pretend that it just didnt happen.

But thats not goin to happen is it?

Im goin to get suckered in again and Im goin to end up heart broken and on my own.

I just dont want this to happen and I dont know what to do.

My ex has got in touch this week after two and a half years and my head is screwed!! I had put him in a locked cupboard at the back of my mind and now its all going crazy!!

Why cant I just have a boring life where nothing ever ever happens?

Please!!!

This is Butch. Hes 11

This rather startled looking thing is Shep hes is 11 months.

This rather scruffy looking thing is Holly my Springer. She has just been playing her favourite game...getting dirty!

And last but not least is Gale! You can see her poorly eye is not looking too great again. She is back at the vet on Monday.

This morning the cat made a sound which was almost like a miaow!! Im over the moon!

Last night I went to Leeds and got very very drunk. Today I am paying the price.

This afternoon I am off to buy wool to Knit some fluffy cushion covers. I saw some at Dunelm for about £10 per cover. We have a big millshop near here that has discount wools and fabric I have worked out I can make the covers for £4.00 each which is a great saving I think!

Ive been doing some part time bar work to help pay the rent. The pub is about 15 mins away and I dont really like the people so this aft I am also going to have an interview at a pub just 2 mins walk away which is about to be refurbished. So wish me luck!

All this is a bit boring really but in my hungover state I am feeling a bit sorry for myself!

Its has again been a while.

When I last blogged i think i had just wrote the car off! Well great news the insurance paid out! MORE than I paid for the car!!!! I ended up getting it for £1150 in the sale and I have got £1300 for it!

In other news. My heating was finally mended the other day after 3 weeks on the blink! Im just starting to thaw out.

Dog was doing great until last saturday she ran after the cat as we were getting out of the car and got run over. She hasnt broke anything but is a bit sore.

Then as if things couldn't get worse on Monday the cat came home after a 24 hour adventure covered in blood and with out her miaow!!! Took her to the vet who shaved the bloody area to find two get holes in her neck. Looks like a dog has had hold of her. One of the holes had needed stitching and the vet says it looks like it has damaged her vocal cords and she wont miaow again. So at the moment she gurgles and squeeks! Not good at all. The people across the back have two big rotties and she did spend a lot of time sitting on their garden wall last week so Im wonndering if it is one of them.

But apart from that everything is just great!!!
